Born and raised just North of Philadelphia in Bucks County, PA., I grew up with an interest in human anatomy and had always envisioned a career in medical illustration. However, I was traditionally trained by abstract expressionists, minimalists, and conceptual artists at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia which led me down the path as a large-scale contemporary painter in the early 2000's.

I continued my education and learned digital art and media at The Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah and later moved to Atlanta where I pursued a career as both a freelance designer/illustrator and college professor. Typically, my clients were based in the health industry, but I had opportunities to work for clients in other fields reaching new audiences and broadened my skillset.

In 2016, I took a job as a medical illustrator in Dallas, Texas at UT Southwestern Medical Center. After having worked for about a year, I soon returned to academia to become the Academic Director of the Design Department at The Art Institute of Dallas until the 2018 layoffs. I returned as an adjunct professor and during the pandemic, I began developing courses for online education and became interested in instructional design, user-friendly interface design, and interactivity to bring more clarity and effective learning for both my classes as well as other online courses for the institution.

From 2019 to 2023, I worked as a Senior Design Specialist at UWorld where I created information graphics, scientific illustrations, icons and assets, and motion graphics used in prep exams for a variety of subjects such as finance, law, science, and history.

Today, I am a litigation designer for Cape Trial Consultants where I work closely with trial teams to develop impactful graphics, illustrations, and animations to create compelling presentations for trial. This new career never gets dull and keeps me continuously learning new media and gaining better workflow processes.

My passion is to educate and persuade through visuals...to make complex ideas easy to comprehend. I specialize in analyzing concepts and data to create infographic visuals, animations, illustrations, and map making. I enjoy working in a team environment and collaborating with experts in their field to bring ideas and research to fruition.
